Winter Without You by Beth Good is a fun romance to add to your Christmas time reads. I’m not a big Hallmark Christmas movie watcher but I love a good Christmas book and add love, I’m in!
Hannah lost everything but when she inherited her late grandmother’s estate she gained everything and more. From the moment the book opens there is hope of something new and lovely and as at each trial there was something good to come of it.
I gave this read 3 stars on Goodreads because I felt like I really couldn’t identify with several of the characters. While the plot was fulfilling, the characters and their purpose were a little haphazard. For example, Lizzie played a large role in the life of the main character, Hannah, but the author left out background information on Lizzie that I needed to truly understand her. Also, I had several questions about the Raphael and Gabriel connection that were never answered.
There were also SO many parts I loved. I loved the dynamic of the accidental roommates and I loved the development of the love between Raphael and Hannah. I would recommend this as a light read perfect for the holiday season.
